# Create your account

Sign up with an email, a phone number, or your X account. There is no seed phrase to write down and no wallet extension to install — takes about a minute.

## Sign in

Go to [app.midasmarkets.xyz](https://app.midasmarkets.xyz). Enter your email and we send a six-digit code; for phone or X, choose **other methods**.

Whichever you pick becomes your sign-in method permanently, so use one you will still have access to next year.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Use a real, personal email**

Disposable inboxes and `+`-aliased addresses are rejected — on the sign-in form before a code is sent, and on any other route when your account is created.
{% endhint %}

## Your wallet is created for you

No separate wallet step. The moment your account exists you have a Solana address and an EVM address, ready to receive funds. Signing a trade is a confirmation in the app, not a popup from an extension.

Export and recovery controls live in **Settings** — worth reading once before you deposit real money.

## Setting up

A short setup follows. Signing up by email or phone, you pick a username and generate an avatar first; signing in with X brings your handle and picture across instead. Then choose the markets you care about and, optionally, a few assets to watch.

You land on the **Dashboard**, with a balance of $0.00 until you fund it.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.midasmarkets.xyz/getting-started/create-account.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
